About Corfu & Beyond
Corfu & Beyond was created from a genuine love of travel, discovering new places and, above all, our connection with Corfu.
What started as sharing our own trips, experiences and recommendations has grown into something much bigger. Corfu & Beyond is becoming a place where visitors can discover the island properly, from the well-known resorts and beaches to the villages, family-run tavernas, local businesses and hidden corners that can easily be missed.
Our aim is simple: to help people get more from their time in Corfu.
Our Story
We’re Andrew and Lisa, the people behind Corfu & Beyond.
We’ve spent years travelling, filming and exploring together, but Corfu is somewhere we keep coming back to. Over time, we realised that some of our favourite experiences were not necessarily the places that appeared at the top of a search result.
They were the little tavernas we stumbled across, conversations with local people, quiet beaches, walks between villages and businesses run by people who genuinely care about what they do.
We started Corfu & Beyond as a way of sharing those experiences with others.
As the community grew, so did the idea.
Instead of simply posting photographs and videos on social media, we wanted to build something more useful, a resource people could actually use when planning and enjoying their time on the island.
More Than a Travel Guide
Corfu & Beyond isn't intended to be another website filled with generic lists of "10 things you must do".
We want it to feel personal, useful and honest.
Where possible, we visit places ourselves, film our own content, speak to local businesses and continue updating the information we share.

An important part of Corfu & Beyond is supporting local businesses.
There are thousands of independent businesses across the island, many of which rely heavily on the summer season.
We want Corfu & Beyond to give those businesses another way to be discovered, whether it's a small family taverna, local shop, boat operator, accommodation provider or someone offering a service visitors might find useful.
Businesses can submit themselves to Corfu & Beyond free of charge, and we review listings before they are published.
Our recommendations aren't simply about who pays to appear. We want people visiting the website to be able to trust what they find.
Why “Beyond”?
Corfu will always be at the heart of what we do, but travel doesn't stop there.
We love exploring other destinations too, whether that's a weekend city break, a long-haul adventure or somewhere completely unexpected.
That's where the Beyond comes in.
You'll occasionally see us exploring destinations outside Corfu, sharing the same style of travel content, experiences and practical advice wherever we go.
But wherever we're travelling, Corfu always seems to pull us back.
What We're Building
The website you're looking at is only the beginning.
We're continuing to build Corfu & Beyond into a much more comprehensive guide to the island, with more locations, accommodation, beaches, restaurants, activities, videos, travel guides and practical information being added all the time.
We also want the site to grow through the people who use it.
