Agios Spyridon Beach is widely considered the main and largest beach in Paleokastritsa, Corfu. Nestled in a dramatic crescent-shaped bay, it is famous for its stunning turquoise waters and striking green cliffside backdrop.

The Water: The sea here is exceptionally clear, making it a premier spot for swimming and snorkeling. Be prepared, though—the water in Paleokastritsa is known for being quite refreshing and colder than on other parts of Corfu Island.
Amenities: The beach is highly organized. A section is dedicated to rental sunbeds and umbrellas, while the remaining space is open and free for visitors who prefer to bring their own gear. You will find changing rooms, public showers, and disabled access ramps on-site.

Paleokastritsa Monastery: The iconic, historic monastery is perched on the high hill directly overlooking the bay and is just a short drive or walk up from the beach area.
Getting There & Parking
The beach is located about 23 to 25 kilometers away from Corfu Town. You can easily drive there or catch the public Green Bus lines (A9 and A10) which stop right by the shore. There is a large paid parking lot right across the road from the beach, but because this is the most popular beach in the area, it gets incredibly crowded during peak summer months. Arriving before 10:00 AM is highly recommended to easily secure a parking space and a prime spot on the sand
