Gialiskari Beach (Perithia)

Gialiskari Beach (Perithia) has a sand shoreline. Reached by a rough local track or on foot from the Agios Spyridon area.

The beach is essentially unorganised. There are no dependable food or drink facilities at the shoreline.

There are no dependable food or drink facilities right on the shoreline, so take water and anything else you may need. Facilities are limited, so do not assume that toilets, showers and changing facilities will be available.

Getting there and practical information

Very limited free roadside parking is available near the access track; do not park on the sand. Reached by a rough local track or on foot from the Agios Spyridon area. Not ideal for visitors with mobility difficulties because of the final natural access. Green Bus routes A12/A19 serve the wider Perithia area; allow roughly a 20–25 minute walk from the nearest practical stop.

Planning your visit

Early morning or later afternoon is a particularly good time to enjoy the quieter atmosphere and softer light. Because refreshments are limited, bring drinking water and anything else you are likely to need before making the final approach.
