The setting is comparatively sheltered and the sea is often calm in settled summer weather, although conditions can always change. It is generally a family-friendly option, with normal supervision around the water.

Getting there and practical information

A free public car park is located beside the beach; it can fill in peak season. Very easy access from Gouvia village. Flat, roadside access makes the beach straightforward to reach. Corfu City Bus route 7 provides frequent connections between Corfu Town and Gouvia.

Planning your visit

If you are visiting in July or August, arriving earlier in the day usually gives you more choice of space at a compact beach like this. Parking is generally easier before the main lunchtime rush.
