Dassia

An Established Seaside Resort close to Corfu Town

About Dassia

On this page: At a glance   ·   Beaches   ·   Things to do   ·   Food & drink   ·   Where to stay

Dassia is an established east-coast resort close to Corfu Town, with beach access, hotels, restaurants and watersports. Development is spread along the main road and shoreline rather than around one traditional village square.

Its central-east location makes it practical for visitors who want a beach base but also expect to visit Corfu Town or explore north and south during their stay.

An established coast with different settings

Dassia includes hotels, beach areas and roadside services, so the exact address has a strong effect on the stay. Compare access to the shore with the property's own grounds and position. A hotel's restaurants or activities are property facilities, and non-resident access should be checked directly.

Coast, village and town outings

Kato Korakiana offers a separate inland village and gallery visit, while Corfu Town gives a more substantial cultural day. For bus travel, investigate City Bus 7 and its current timetable as well as the final walk to the accommodation. If you want to spend most days on the beach, choose by the actual shore access rather than the broad Dassia label. For an evening out, arrange the return before assuming that a late meal fits the last bus.

Hotel

Planning your
Kassiopi stay

Do I need a car?
A car is not essential for exploring locally, but can be useful for trips farther afield. Check your accommodation’s position and the route to the centre before deciding.

What are the beaches like?
Our individual guides cover Kalamionas, Bataria, Pipitos, Imerolia and Kanoni. Several are compact pebble coves; each has its own access and facilities.

Is Kassiopi quiet in the evenings?
Harbour-front dining, cocktails and music bars contribute to its sociable atmosphere. Check neighbouring venues with your host if quiet evenings matter.

Can I reach Kassiopi by bus?
Check Green Bus A4 and the operator’s current timetable for your dates, exact stop, last return and final route to your accommodation.

What can I explore nearby?
Avlaki and Kerasia have their own destination guides. Check the actual road or walking route before setting out; closeness on a map does not establish an easy walk.
