Kavvadades
A Quiet Village Base for Exploring North West Corfu
About Kavvadades
On this page: At a glance · Beaches · Things to do · Food & drink · Where to stay
Kavvadades sits inland among the countryside of north-west Corfu and is more about village character and location than resort facilities. It offers a quieter base from which several well-known coastal areas can be reached.
Arillas, Afionas and Agios Georgios Pagon are all part of the wider area, making the village especially relevant to travellers exploring by car.
Olive-country surroundings
Kavvadades offers an inland setting from which to explore north-west Corfu. A local accommodation provider describes the surrounding olive and cypress landscape, but individual property facilities should not be assumed to be village amenities. The appeal is a rural base and village context rather than a developed beach-resort centre.
Deciding how you will explore
Choose which coast you expect to use most often before booking: repeated beach transfers can matter more than being centrally placed among several destinations. Ask about the property's approach, nearby evening meals and parking. For a day visit, combine the village with one of the north-west bays and leave room for a relaxed stop. If walking is part of the plan, obtain a specific route and check its current condition rather than following an unverified countryside shortcut.

Planning your
Kassiopi stay
Do I need a car?
A car is not essential for exploring locally, but can be useful for trips farther afield. Check your accommodation’s position and the route to the centre before deciding.
What are the beaches like?
Our individual guides cover Kalamionas, Bataria, Pipitos, Imerolia and Kanoni. Several are compact pebble coves; each has its own access and facilities.
Is Kassiopi quiet in the evenings?
Harbour-front dining, cocktails and music bars contribute to its sociable atmosphere. Check neighbouring venues with your host if quiet evenings matter.
Can I reach Kassiopi by bus?
Check Green Bus A4 and the operator’s current timetable for your dates, exact stop, last return and final route to your accommodation.
What can I explore nearby?
Avlaki and Kerasia have their own destination guides. Check the actual road or walking route before setting out; closeness on a map does not establish an easy walk.
