Krini is a small north-west Corfu village best known to visitors as the approach to Angelokastro, with traditional lanes and dramatic surrounding scenery.
Krini has old stone buildings and village lanes, with an association with the approach to Angelokastro. Check the current visitor route separately.
The village and Angelokastro
Krini is best understood as a village visit alongside the approach to Angelokastro, rather than as part of the beach resort below. Its stone buildings and lanes deserve a little time of their own. Check the fortress's current opening and access arrangements separately, especially if that is the main reason for the journey.
Planning the hill-country part of your day
Combine Krini with Makrades or a selected coastal stop rather than assuming every viewpoint and bay will fit into one afternoon. A village walk and the climb at a historic site are different activities; choose what suits your group. Before booking rural accommodation, confirm how the car reaches the property and whether luggage has to be carried through lanes. For beach time, allow for the road journey down to Paleokastritsa or Agios Georgios Pagon.
Getting around, beaches and evenings

No beach in the village. Agios Georgios Pagon and the Paleokastritsa coastline are nearby options.
Very quiet, with local tavernas rather than dedicated nightlife. Nearby coastal resorts provide more evening choice.

Where to stay
Planning your
Kassiopi stay
Do I need a car?
A car is not essential for exploring locally, but can be useful for trips farther afield. Check your accommodation’s position and the route to the centre before deciding.
What are the beaches like?
Our individual guides cover Kalamionas, Bataria, Pipitos, Imerolia and Kanoni. Several are compact pebble coves; each has its own access and facilities.
Is Kassiopi quiet in the evenings?
Harbour-front dining, cocktails and music bars contribute to its sociable atmosphere. Check neighbouring venues with your host if quiet evenings matter.
Can I reach Kassiopi by bus?
Check Green Bus A4 and the operator’s current timetable for your dates, exact stop, last return and final route to your accommodation.
What can I explore nearby?
Avlaki and Kerasia have their own destination guides. Check the actual road or walking route before setting out; closeness on a map does not establish an easy walk.
