Roda

A Relaxed North-Coast Resort with a Long Beach

About Roda

On this page: At a glance   ·   Beaches   ·   Things to do   ·   Food & drink   ·   Where to stay

Roda combines a long beachfront with a compact village centre and a relaxed resort atmosphere. Restaurants, cafés, bars and accommodation line the main tourist area, while the flatter landscape makes the centre relatively easy to explore on foot.

Acharavi lies nearby to the east and the wider north coast is straightforward to explore by road, making Roda a practical base for a longer northern Corfu stay.

A seaside base with everyday choices

Roda offers a beach-led stay with restaurants and holiday accommodation close to the village setting. Choose a property by the route you will actually use to the shore and evening meals, particularly if travelling without a car. A location near the resort can still mean a different walk from one in its centre.

Combining Roda and the north coast

Acharavi offers a contrasting visit with a wider town-and-services role, while the surrounding inland villages make a different kind of outing. Pick one excursion and arrange its return rather than assuming coastal proximity creates a continuous walking route. Green Bus A3 is the connection to check for Roda and Acharavi, including date-specific departures and stops. On beach days, assess the day's conditions locally rather than relying on a destination-wide description of the water.

Planning your
Kassiopi stay

Do I need a car?
A car is not essential for exploring locally, but can be useful for trips farther afield. Check your accommodation’s position and the route to the centre before deciding.

What are the beaches like?
Our individual guides cover Kalamionas, Bataria, Pipitos, Imerolia and Kanoni. Several are compact pebble coves; each has its own access and facilities.

Is Kassiopi quiet in the evenings?
Harbour-front dining, cocktails and music bars contribute to its sociable atmosphere. Check neighbouring venues with your host if quiet evenings matter.

Can I reach Kassiopi by bus?
Check Green Bus A4 and the operator’s current timetable for your dates, exact stop, last return and final route to your accommodation.

What can I explore nearby?
Avlaki and Kerasia have their own destination guides. Check the actual road or walking route before setting out; closeness on a map does not establish an easy walk.
