Strongyli is a quiet inland village above Corfu's south-east coast, offering a traditional village setting within reach of the nearby coastal resorts.

Village life above the south-east coast

Strongyli offers an inland setting within reach of Moraitika and Messonghi. It is a useful choice to investigate when you prefer a village address to a resort frontage, but the coastal facilities remain separate. A short visit can form the quieter part of a day exploring the south-east.

Making an inland stay work

Before booking, ask how the property connects with the village, the B13 bus stop and the places where you expect to eat or shop. Check the actual return timetable if you intend to use buses for a day at the coast. With a car, plan parking and the last approach to the accommodation in advance. The important distinction is between being within driving reach of a beach and having a beach that is convenient to use every day on foot.

Where to stay

Planning your
Kassiopi stay

Do I need a car?
A car is not essential for exploring locally, but can be useful for trips farther afield. Check your accommodation’s position and the route to the centre before deciding.

What are the beaches like?
Our individual guides cover Kalamionas, Bataria, Pipitos, Imerolia and Kanoni. Several are compact pebble coves; each has its own access and facilities.

Is Kassiopi quiet in the evenings?
Harbour-front dining, cocktails and music bars contribute to its sociable atmosphere. Check neighbouring venues with your host if quiet evenings matter.

Can I reach Kassiopi by bus?
Check Green Bus A4 and the operator’s current timetable for your dates, exact stop, last return and final route to your accommodation.

What can I explore nearby?
Avlaki and Kerasia have their own destination guides. Check the actual road or walking route before setting out; closeness on a map does not establish an easy walk.
