Kanoni is part of Central Corfu. A famous sightseeing area south of Corfu Town, known for views of Vlacherna Monastery, Pontikonisi and aircraft approaching the airport.
Kanoni is one of Corfu's classic sightseeing stops, best known for the elevated view towards Vlacherna Monastery and Pontikonisi, or Mouse Island. Aircraft approaching the nearby airport add another distinctive feature to the viewpoint.
The area is close to Corfu Town and can be combined with Mon Repos, Paleopolis and other central Corfu attractions. It is particularly well suited to visitors interested in sightseeing, scenic views, photography, history & culture and car-free holidays.
Getting there and practical information
Kanoni is served by Corfu City Bus line 2A and can also be reached via the pedestrian footbridge from Perama. Parking is available around the marina and viewpoint area, although the famous viewpoint can become particularly busy when excursion groups arrive.
