Kinopiastes

Traditional Inland Corfu close to the Island's Centre

ABOUT

Kinopiastes is part of Central Corfu. A traditional inland village offering local character, food and a useful position for exploring central Corfu.

Kinopiastes is an inland village south-west of Corfu Town with traditional streets and a strong local character. It is known more for village life and food than for conventional holiday-resort facilities.

Its central position makes it easy to include while exploring the countryside between Corfu Town, Gastouri and the west coast. It is particularly well suited to visitors interested in traditional villages, food & drink, exploring by car and local life.

Getting there and practical information

Kinopiastes can be reached by Corfu City Bus line 5, while Green Bus routes also pass through the wider area. Free street parking is available, but the older village layout is compact, so allow for narrow roads and short walks.
