Agioi Deka
A traditional central Corfu village beneath the mountain
About Agioi Deka

Agioi Deka is a traditional inland village beneath Mount Agioi Deka, with old lanes, local life and access to the surrounding central Corfu hills.
A central hill-village visit
Agioi Deka offers an inland alternative to a beach day, with the mountain setting and older lanes giving the visit its shape. The municipality includes it among Corfu's countryside villages. Treat the surrounding hills as walking country that needs a chosen route, rather than assuming any lane continues as a signed circular trail.
Pairing the village with the west coast
Agios Gordios is a separate beach destination and can provide a contrasting coastal part to the day. If you are staying in the village, look closely at the property's approach, parking and distance from the facilities you expect to use each evening. For a short visit, allow time for the village itself before adding a drive through neighbouring central Corfu settlements; the attraction is in the smaller details, not a checklist of major sights.
Getting around, beaches and evenings
A car is useful for reaching the village and exploring the surrounding hills. The older village lanes are best explored on foot.
No beach in the village. Agios Gordios is one of the nearest major west-coast beaches.
Very quiet and local. For bars and evening dining, Agios Gordios and Corfu Town offer a wider choice.

Planning your
Kassiopi stay
Do I need a car?
A car is not essential for exploring locally, but can be useful for trips farther afield. Check your accommodation’s position and the route to the centre before deciding.
What are the beaches like?
Our individual guides cover Kalamionas, Bataria, Pipitos, Imerolia and Kanoni. Several are compact pebble coves; each has its own access and facilities.
Is Kassiopi quiet in the evenings?
Harbour-front dining, cocktails and music bars contribute to its sociable atmosphere. Check neighbouring venues with your host if quiet evenings matter.
Can I reach Kassiopi by bus?
Check Green Bus A4 and the operator’s current timetable for your dates, exact stop, last return and final route to your accommodation.
What can I explore nearby?
Avlaki and Kerasia have their own destination guides. Check the actual road or walking route before setting out; closeness on a map does not establish an easy walk.
