Ipsos

A Lively Seafront Resort with Easy Access North and South

About Ipsos

On this page: At a glance   ·   Beaches   ·   Things to do   ·   Food & drink   ·   Where to stay

Ipsos runs along a long east-coast seafront with the road, beach and resort businesses forming a linear centre. It has one of the livelier evening scenes outside Corfu Town and attracts visitors who want restaurants, bars and activities close at hand.

The resort is also well positioned for buses and road trips towards Corfu Town, Barbati and the north-east coast.

A long seafront with an active evening scene

Ipsos offers a beach, cafés and bars along an extended waterfront rather than a single compact square. Choose the part of the resort that fits your evenings: being near music and nightlife can be convenient for some visitors, while a different address may suit earlier nights. Ask about nearby venues instead of treating all accommodation as equally lively.

Beach days and hillside contrast

Agios Markos provides a separate village outing above the resort, with a different atmosphere and a climb that needs planning. For daily travel to Corfu Town, check City Bus 7 and the stop nearest your accommodation. On foot, look at road crossings and the route between the room, beach and dinner. Watersports and venue programmes are seasonal services to confirm individually, rather than facilities to assume are available throughout the year.

Planning your
Kassiopi stay

Do I need a car?
A car is not essential for exploring locally, but can be useful for trips farther afield. Check your accommodation’s position and the route to the centre before deciding.

What are the beaches like?
Our individual guides cover Kalamionas, Bataria, Pipitos, Imerolia and Kanoni. Several are compact pebble coves; each has its own access and facilities.

Is Kassiopi quiet in the evenings?
Harbour-front dining, cocktails and music bars contribute to its sociable atmosphere. Check neighbouring venues with your host if quiet evenings matter.

Can I reach Kassiopi by bus?
Check Green Bus A4 and the operator’s current timetable for your dates, exact stop, last return and final route to your accommodation.

What can I explore nearby?
Avlaki and Kerasia have their own destination guides. Check the actual road or walking route before setting out; closeness on a map does not establish an easy walk.
