Beautiful bay on the North East Corfu coastline

Kerasia

A Scenic Bay with Clear Water and a Relaxed Feel

About Kerasia

On this page: At a glance   ·   Beaches   ·   Things to do   ·   Food & drink   ·   Where to stay

Kerasia is a long, attractive bay on the north-east coast with clear water and a relatively low-key atmosphere. Villas and scattered accommodation sit around the wider hillside rather than forming a dense resort centre.

It is well placed between Agios Stefanos North East and Kassiopi, making it especially appealing to swimmers, boat users and visitors who prefer quieter coastal surroundings.

A pebble bay for a slower day

Kerasia's wooded surroundings and pebble shore make the bay the focus of a visit. Choose time for the water and a meal rather than expecting a developed resort centre. The beach is a separate destination from the main-road bus corridor, a distinction that matters if arriving without your own transport.

Checking the last part of the journey

For a stay, ask where the property sits in relation to the bay and how the route works with luggage or shopping. A sea view does not establish a short or level walk. If combining Kerasia with another north-east harbour or beach, decide on the road or boat connection before setting out. Boat hire and arranged transfers depend on the operator and conditions; do not assume an advertised nearby service includes the precise bay or return time you need.

Planning your
Kassiopi stay

Do I need a car?
A car is not essential for exploring locally, but can be useful for trips farther afield. Check your accommodation’s position and the route to the centre before deciding.

What are the beaches like?
Our individual guides cover Kalamionas, Bataria, Pipitos, Imerolia and Kanoni. Several are compact pebble coves; each has its own access and facilities.

Is Kassiopi quiet in the evenings?
Harbour-front dining, cocktails and music bars contribute to its sociable atmosphere. Check neighbouring venues with your host if quiet evenings matter.

Can I reach Kassiopi by bus?
Check Green Bus A4 and the operator’s current timetable for your dates, exact stop, last return and final route to your accommodation.

What can I explore nearby?
Avlaki and Kerasia have their own destination guides. Check the actual road or walking route before setting out; closeness on a map does not establish an easy walk.
