Liapades
Traditional Village Life beside Beautiful West-Coast Beaches
About Liapades
On this page: At a glance · Beaches · Things to do · Food & drink · Where to stay
Liapades combines a traditional village centre with access to some of the west coast's most attractive beaches and walking routes. The old village sits inland, while accommodation and beach access spread downhill towards the sea.
Rovinia is one of the best-known nearby beaches, and Paleokastritsa is only a short distance away, making Liapades a strong base for visitors who want both village atmosphere and coastal exploration.
The village and the coast are different experiences
Liapades combines an older village setting with separate beaches and coves below. Decide which is the priority when choosing accommodation: a village-lane address and a beach-area address can produce different daily routines. Give the square and older streets some time rather than using the village only as a signpost to the shore.
Planning a visit to the coves
Rovinia and other coastal spots require their own access checks, including the route back, rather than being treated as extensions of a level promenade. If arriving by A10 bus, confirm the exact stop and the gradient to your intended destination. A day can work well with village time and one chosen beach. For a longer stay, compare the practical route to dinner, supplies and swimming with the atmosphere you want around the accommodation.

Where to stay
Planning your
Kassiopi stay
Do I need a car?
A car is not essential for exploring locally, but can be useful for trips farther afield. Check your accommodation’s position and the route to the centre before deciding.
What are the beaches like?
Our individual guides cover Kalamionas, Bataria, Pipitos, Imerolia and Kanoni. Several are compact pebble coves; each has its own access and facilities.
Is Kassiopi quiet in the evenings?
Harbour-front dining, cocktails and music bars contribute to its sociable atmosphere. Check neighbouring venues with your host if quiet evenings matter.
Can I reach Kassiopi by bus?
Check Green Bus A4 and the operator’s current timetable for your dates, exact stop, last return and final route to your accommodation.
What can I explore nearby?
Avlaki and Kerasia have their own destination guides. Check the actual road or walking route before setting out; closeness on a map does not establish an easy walk.
