Sidari
Beaches, Canal d'Amour & a Lively Holiday Atmosphere
About Sidari
On this page: At a glance · Beaches · Things to do · Food & drink · Where to stay
Sidari is one of the largest holiday resorts in northern Corfu, with a broad range of restaurants, bars, accommodation and visitor services. Its coastline is especially well known for the sculpted sandstone formations around Canal d'Amour.
The resort suits visitors who want plenty happening within walking distance, while Peroulades and Cape Drastis provide easy opportunities to see a more scenic and quieter side of the surrounding area.
Choose the part of Sidari that suits you
Sidari combines the main resort beaches and evening venues with the distinct coastal formations around Canal d'Amour. Compare accommodation by its exact setting: being close to the entertainment can be convenient, while a different position may better suit earlier nights. Ask the host about neighbouring venues rather than treating the whole resort as equally noisy.
Making room for the coastline
Plan some time beyond the nearest sunbed, but check the current route and conditions around the rock formations instead of assuming every photographed spot is easy to reach. Seasonal entertainment varies by venue; quizzes, karaoke or Greek nights advertised by one business do not describe every evening across Sidari. If using A2 buses, check the last return before a late meal. For a coastal excursion, select one additional stop rather than trying to fit all the north-west viewpoints into a single afternoon.

Where to stay
Planning your
Kassiopi stay
Do I need a car?
A car is not essential for exploring locally, but can be useful for trips farther afield. Check your accommodation’s position and the route to the centre before deciding.
What are the beaches like?
Our individual guides cover Kalamionas, Bataria, Pipitos, Imerolia and Kanoni. Several are compact pebble coves; each has its own access and facilities.
Is Kassiopi quiet in the evenings?
Harbour-front dining, cocktails and music bars contribute to its sociable atmosphere. Check neighbouring venues with your host if quiet evenings matter.
Can I reach Kassiopi by bus?
Check Green Bus A4 and the operator’s current timetable for your dates, exact stop, last return and final route to your accommodation.
What can I explore nearby?
Avlaki and Kerasia have their own destination guides. Check the actual road or walking route before setting out; closeness on a map does not establish an easy walk.
