Pelekas
Traditional Village Streets, Sunsets & Kaiser's Throne
ABOUT
Pelekas is part of West Corfu. A traditional hillside village known for its character, sunset views, Kaiser's Throne and access to nearby west-coast beaches.
Pelekas is a traditional hillside village with narrow streets, local restaurants and elevated views across central and western Corfu. Kaiser's Throne is the best-known viewpoint and is particularly popular around sunset.
The village also works as a base for reaching Glyfada, Kontogialos and other west-coast beaches, combining inland character with easy coastal access. It is particularly well suited to visitors interested in traditional villages, scenic views, sunsets, food & drink and photography.
Getting there and practical information
Corfu City Bus line 11 connects Pelekas with Corfu Town. Free street parking is available, but the traditional village streets are narrow and larger vehicles also pass through, so park carefully and explore the centre on foot.
