Agios Stefanos North East

A Small Harbour Village on Corfu's North East Coast

About Agios Stefanos North East

On this page: At a glance   ·   Beaches   ·   Things to do   ·   Food & drink   ·   Where to stay

This Agios Stefanos is the small harbour village on Corfu's north-east coast and should not be confused with Agios Stefanos Avliotes in the north-west. The harbour, waterfront restaurants and villas give it an intimate coastal feel.

Kerasia and Avlaki are close by, while boats are a popular way to experience the surrounding bays and villages.

A small harbour on the north-east coast

This Agios Stefanos is the north-east harbour village, distinct from Agios Stefanos Avliotes in the north-west. Waterfront dining, boating and the harbour setting shape a visit. Check the address carefully when booking transport or accommodation, as the shared name can otherwise create a substantial mistake.

Planning a stay around the harbour

Villas and other accommodation may sit above or away from the waterfront, so ask about the complete route to dinner and the shore. For a boat day, establish the departure point and return arrangements directly with the operator. Meal-related taverna transfers are a separate service from public transport and need booking and confirmation. If a larger beach is a priority, plan a distinct visit to one of the nearby bays rather than expecting the harbour frontage to provide every kind of beach experience.

Where to stay

Planning your
Kassiopi stay

Do I need a car?
A car is not essential for exploring locally, but can be useful for trips farther afield. Check your accommodation’s position and the route to the centre before deciding.

What are the beaches like?
Our individual guides cover Kalamionas, Bataria, Pipitos, Imerolia and Kanoni. Several are compact pebble coves; each has its own access and facilities.

Is Kassiopi quiet in the evenings?
Harbour-front dining, cocktails and music bars contribute to its sociable atmosphere. Check neighbouring venues with your host if quiet evenings matter.

Can I reach Kassiopi by bus?
Check Green Bus A4 and the operator’s current timetable for your dates, exact stop, last return and final route to your accommodation.

What can I explore nearby?
Avlaki and Kerasia have their own destination guides. Check the actual road or walking route before setting out; closeness on a map does not establish an easy walk.
