Seafront Walks between Garitsa and Mon Repos
About Anemomylos

Anemomylos is a seafront neighbourhood south of Garitsa with a relaxed local feel, swimming spots and a popular coastal walking route. It sits between Corfu Town and the green grounds around Mon Repos.
The area is particularly attractive for visitors who enjoy walking, sea views and easy access to the capital without staying directly in the busiest part of the Old Town.
A seafront pause beyond Garitsa
Anemomylos offers a coastal walk, places to eat and a distinctive bathing spot beyond the windmill. Port Authority information describes a concrete jetty with metal sea-entry ladders. This is a different swimming experience from a broad sandy beach, so choose it with the access and day's conditions in mind.
Combining the waterfront and nearby culture
A visit can be paired with Garitsa or the Mon Repos area, giving the day a mix of waterfront and cultural interest. Check current access to any site you plan to enter. For accommodation, compare the route into the Old Town with the immediate seafront setting. If sea-entry steps, ladders or uneven surfaces are unsuitable for your group, investigate a different bathing option rather than assuming every waterfront spot offers the same access.

Where to stay
Planning your
Kassiopi stay
Do I need a car?
A car is not essential for exploring locally, but can be useful for trips farther afield. Check your accommodation’s position and the route to the centre before deciding.
What are the beaches like?
Our individual guides cover Kalamionas, Bataria, Pipitos, Imerolia and Kanoni. Several are compact pebble coves; each has its own access and facilities.
Is Kassiopi quiet in the evenings?
Harbour-front dining, cocktails and music bars contribute to its sociable atmosphere. Check neighbouring venues with your host if quiet evenings matter.
Can I reach Kassiopi by bus?
Check Green Bus A4 and the operator’s current timetable for your dates, exact stop, last return and final route to your accommodation.
What can I explore nearby?
Avlaki and Kerasia have their own destination guides. Check the actual road or walking route before setting out; closeness on a map does not establish an easy walk.
